The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) PO prelims 2016 exam will begin in four days. The admit cards have already been issued on October 1st and if you haven’t got yours, go right ahead and do so first thing.

IBPS PO prelims 2016 will be held on four days i.e., on October 16th, October 22nd, October 23rd and October 27th. The 27th October as exam date was added upon the issuance of call letters and was not notified in the advertisement. However, have no confusion and be assured that if your admit card has your exam date mentioned as 27th October, it is correct.
The examination will be conducted in multiple shifts one each exam date, so, make sure to note your timing and date and prepare accordingly. The test will be computer based and have four shifts on some dates or all in different centres. Your’s will be given on your admit card though.
The details of the exam centre with your roll number will be mentioned in the call letter. The common guidelines or instructions are usually printed on the call letter itself. However, make sure to arrive at the test venue on time. According to IBPS, no candidate will be permitted entry to the examination hall 30 minutest after the reporting time.
Also, make sure that your personal details such as name, date of birth etc. imprinted on the call letter must match with that on your identity proof, which must be carried with yourself on the exam day along with the photograph and documents necessary as mentioned. You must have received an e-mail from the IBPS regarding the call letters and instructions to be followed. If you have any of the details mismatched in the call letter, contact IBPS regional branch officer, or mail at the ID given on the official website (www.ibps.in) with issue.
Note: Candidates are only allowed to bring pencil, eraser and ball-point pen in the exam hall. Phone, digital watches, books/notes, Bluetooth devices, pager and calculator are not allowed inside the hall.
