West Bengal Board Exam Results 2017: Madhyamik Result Expected This Week

Madhyamik result 2017, West Bengal 10th results are likely to be declared soon at www.wbresults.nic.in and www.wbbse.org for the students.

The result for the students of grade twelve is expected to come out on May 16, 2017. The students of Higher Secondary Education have nervousness running all over their mind and are anxiously waiting for the result. The exams for the grade 12 were conducted from March 15, 2017, to March 29, 2017. The date is not confirmed as such. According to the indiaresults.com, this date is mentioned otherwise board has not given any such confirmation. For the examination total number of 7,44,5507 students appeared for the exam. The result would be available on the official website that is wbbse.org.

However, West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education (WBBME) has confirmed that it will declare Madrasah March 2017 exam results on May 16 at 11 AM.

Steps to know the score

To know the score students have obtained, they need to open the above-mentioned website. On the site click on the link where Class 12/HS result is mentioned. Now fill the required details such as your roll number and press the login button. The result would be available on the screen. Do check the detail that is your name, parents name to confirm that the result is yours. Sometimes in nervousness, you tend to make a mistake while entering your roll number so check for the confirmation. Now print out your result or save a PDF file of it for further reference. Sometimes while opening the result it may take time or the result may not appear, don’t panic as the site may be slow because of the traffic of site being used by a large number.

Previous Year record

In the year 2016, a number of 7,79,453 students appeared for the exams. Among the total students, the passing number was 6,79,453 which leads the pass percentage to be 83.65 %. The topper of 2016 was Swagatam Halder with 99% marks.

About West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Education

The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education was established by The Government of West Bengal. This council is the main body which takes care of the education system for grade twelve. The office for the council is at  Salt Lake, Bidhannagar, Korunamoyee, Kolkata along with 4 other regional offices. The functions of this council are carried out through an Organisational Structure.

The Council consists of the members like The President who is appointed by the State Government other members like The President of the Board of Secondary Education-Ex Officio, The Director of School Education-Ex-Officio, The Director of Technical Education-Ex-officio, The Director of Industries-Ex-officio, The Director of Agriculture-Ex-Officio, The Director of SCERT-Ex-officio etc.
