The online application process for the state-level entrance examination – WBJEE 2017 has commenced on 5th January. The aspirants will be able to fill WBJEE 2017 online application from till 4th February. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board had issued the information bulletin on 28th December, while the exam is scheduled to be held on 23rd April.
WBJEE 2017 will be administered by the Board, like every year, for shortlisting meritorious students seeking admission in undergraduate courses of Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture for the academic session 2017-18. The admissions in undergraduate medical and dental programs will be done through National-level NEET exam.
As the application process has already commenced, the students are required to understand the process carefully as a single mistake in the form can lead to its cancellation. Overall, the WBJEE 2017 form filling process consists of four steps:
Step 1: Head over to the official website (www.wbjeeeb.in) and click on ‘WBJEE’ icon. There the link ‘Apply for WBJEE 2017’ will lead you to the e-Admission system where one can start filling the application form. Enter the asked details and submit the form. After successful submission of details, an application number will be generated by the system.
Step 2: Login to the e-Admission system using the system generated application number and password and upload the scanned images of photograph, signature and thumb impression.
Step 3: The candidates are required to pay Rs 500 as examination fee which can be paid through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking or Allahabad Bank Challan.
Step 4: Upon successful payment of examination fee, the Confirmation Page will be generated. All the candidates are required to take the print-out of this page for future reference.
The application process would conclude on 4th February, while the candidates will be given a one-time window of three days from 6 to 8 February for making required corrections in the particulars.
It is to note here that the candidates are not required to send any document to WBJEE Board. All the candidates will be enrolled for the WBJEE 2017 on the basis of details submitted in the application form, while the verification will be done at the time of counselling.
WBJEE 2017 will be held on 23rd April at examination centers across West Bengal, Assam, and Tripura.
