WBJEE answer key 2017 and solutions have now been released for the engineering exam that was held yesterday on April 23, 2017. Candidates who had appeared for West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2017 engineering exam can now view the answer key uploaded by the coaching institutions.
WBJEE 2017 official answer keys will possibly be published on Monday for the candidates. However, some of the coaching providers namely, Aakash institute and Adamas Career has already uploaded the WBJEE 2017 solutions and answer keys. Candidates can check the WBJEE 2017 answer key and solutions through the link below.

The candidates will also be given the opportunity to challenge the model answer keys through the online mode. The challenge format will be uploaded along with the answer keys. “Any candidate will be able to challenge the model answer key by logging in with his/her password,” the Board has said. For submitting challenges against the model answer keys, one will have to pay Rs. 500 per question which can be paid through net banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card or e-challan. The Board will issue a notice giving more details soon. We’ll update the information shortly after the official confirmation.
If any challenge is accepted by the Board’s expert panel, the answer keys will be revised and final answer keys will be prepared. The same will be made available on the Board’s website and the result will be based on the final answer keys only. The Board will also upload the images of OMR sheets and machine read responses in www.wbjeeb.in two to three weeks after the exam.
The aspirants qualifying in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE 2017) will be eligible for admission in undergraduate courses in Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture offered in Universities, Government colleges and self-financed institutes located in the State.
While most of the entrance examinations are being conducted as online tests nowadays, WBJEE 2017 was conducted as OMR based test. The test comprised of two papers; Paper 1 (Mathematics) and Paper 2 (Physics & Chemistry). The final result will be published in the form of rank cards having rank, total score obtained by the candidates and component scores in Paper 1 & 2, whichever applicable.
Based on the papers, two separate merit rank lists will be published by the Board. Merit Rank List-I (GMR) will be used for admissions in engineering & Technology, Architecture courses in all institutions and to the Pharmacy course in Jadavpur University. Merit Rank List-II (PMR) will be used for admissions in Pharmacy courses available in all institutions, except Jadavpur University.
