WBSC admit card 2018 has been issued today for the West Bengal Civil Service Preliminary exam. West Bengal Public Service Commission will conduct the preliminary exam on January 28 and the candidates can now download WBCS admit card. The admit card/ call letter is now available at the official website www.pscwbonline.gov.in.
West Bengal Public Service Commission had released the advertisement (no. 24/2017) for recruitment to the Group A, B, C & D posts in the cadre of West Bengal Civil Service and certain other Services and posts. The applications for West Bengal Civil Service (Exe.) etc. Examination 2018 were filled from November 10 to December 3. WBPSC had a few days ago notified that WBCS admit card 2018 of prelims test will be uploaded on the official website on January 12.
WBSC preliminary exam (General Studies Paper) will be conducted in a single shift on January 28. The exam will comprise of 200 objective type questions, each carrying 1 mark. The questions will be distributed equally among English Composition, General Science, Current Events of National & International Importance, History of India, Geography of India with special reference of West Bengal, Indian Polity and Economy, Indian National Movement, and General Mental Ability. The test will be conducted from 12 noon to 2.30 pm.
WBCS admit card 2018 is now available at pscwbonline.gov.in, however, the official website is not functioning properly, probably due to increased traffic. The candidates can download WBSC admit card using their first name and date of birth. The candidates are required to take the printout of the e-admit card and carry it to the exam center. In case the photograph/ signature is not available or defective on the admit card, the candidates should carry two identical stamp size photographs along with proof of identity and printout of the WBSC admit card.
If the admit card bears any incorrect detail, the candidates should contact the Commission. “The candidates should bring a black ballpoint pen to the exam center”, the Commission has notified. Calculator, Mobile Phone and other electronic gadgets of communication are strictly banned in the exam hall.
