West Bengal State Council of Technical Education (WBSCTE) will upload the admit card of JEXPO 2017 and VOCLET 2017 on April 7 now. Earlier, the admit cards for these two exams were scheduled to be available from April 3 onwards. The applicants will be able to access the admit card from official website www.wbscte.net.
The candidates are advised to download their respective admit card by entering the application form number and check the particulars mentioned in the admit card. In case of any mistake in the particulars, the candidates shall contact the Council immediately. The Council had already made it clear that no admit card will be sent to the applicants of JEXPO or VOCLET 2017.
Students are required to carry JEXPO admit card along with an original photo identity card. Students not having them will not be granted permission to appear for the exam. The students have also been told to preserve the admit card till the completion of the admission process for the academic session 2017-18.
JEXPO 2017 will be conducted in two papers comprising Mathematics (1st Paper) and Physics & Chemistry (2nd Paper). The qualified students will be eligible for admissions to Diploma courses in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture in Polytechnics of West Bengal. Both the papers will consist of multiple choice questions and the students will be given OMR answer sheets to mark the answers.
JEXPO will be held on April 30, 2017, with Paper 1 from 10 am to 12 noon and Paper 2 from 1 pm to 3 pm. Both the papers will carry 100 marks.
Another exam – VOCLET 2017 will be conducted on May 7. VOCLET also comprises of two papers of 100 marks, but Paper 1 will consist of Mathematics (50 marks), Physics (25 marks) & Chemistry (25 marks) and Paper 2 will have questions from Mechanics (50 marks) & Computer (50 marks). The timings will be same for VOCLET.
