Vidyamandir Classes begins training of IIT aspirants under CM’s Super Talented Children Scholarship Scheme

16 September 2015 : Vidyamandir Classes announced the commencement of training of 290 students as the part of ‘CM’s Super Talented Children Scholarship Scheme‘. The scholarship scheme was launched by Delhi Government to encourage meritorious science stream students studying in Delhi government schools.

As per the press release, 290 students will be provided coaching by Vidyamandir Classes for entrance examinations conducted for admissions to premier institutions of the Country. The selected students will undergo an intensive training of at least 850 hours at the designated training institutes. Vidyamandir Classes has decided to provide training at its centres located at Dwarka, Anand Vihar and Pitampura. Vidyamandir Classes will train the selected meritorious under the Delhi Government’s flagship scheme in the current academic year.

Vidyamandir Classes has been selected for providing coaching under the CM’s Super Talented Children Scholarship Scheme along with FIITJEE and Aakash Institute. A screening test was organized by the Directorate of Education, Delhi Government for Class XI and XII science stream students studying in Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalaya and 54 Model Delhi Government Schools in which 1500 students participated.

On the occasion of the initiation of the training, Shyam Mohan Gupta, Founder of Vidyamandir Classes said, “We are honoured at being selected by Delhi Government to impart training to meritorious students from Government Schools to help them prepare for IIT entrance tests. We have been imparting preparatory education to lakhs of aspirants over the years. We also run a similar training programme in Pondicherry in partnership with Avanti Fellows since past 3 years as part of our CSR practices, which has resulted in large number of children from economically weak families to gain admission in IITs and other premier engineering institutes. We are convinced that with our proprietary training modules, these meritorious students too will make a mark.”

Meritorious students of science stream studying in Class XI and XII in Delhi government schools are being provided scholarship for professional coaching and guidance to enable admission to premier engineering and medical institutions of the country under CM’s Super Talented Children Scholarship Scheme.

Vidyamandir Classes (VMC) were started in the year 1989 and is run by a group of Ex-IITians. VMC provides coaching for students of IX, X, XI & XII for overall academic excellence in IIT-JEE, Olympiads and National Talent Search Examination and all other related competitive examinations. VMC currently has 55 centres (including physical and VSAT centres) across 38 cities in India.
