Finally! UP Board Date Sheet 2017 Released

Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has finally announced the complete time table of upcoming board examination for Class 10th and 12th students. The dates were initially announced in December, however, as the State goes for Assembly Elections in February, the same was slated to be changed. Check complete UP Board date sheet 2017 below.

Class 10 exams will finish on 1 April, while Class 12 exams will finish on 21 April

Board Secretary Smt. Shail Kumari Yadav announced the schedule today, thus putting an end to the confusion amongst students. As it was announced, the Class 10th Board exams will continue from 16 March to 1 April, while the Class 12th exams will be conducted from 16 March to 21 April. The Board had earlier proposed on 8 December that UP Board exams should be conducted from 16 February, however, as the Election dates fell in between the schedule, it was announced that the Board exams will commence from 16 March, once the Elections will get finished.

As much as 60,29,152 students will be appearing (regular & private) for the Board exams this year. This include 34,04,471 Class 10 students and 26,24,681 Class 12 students. This figure has fallen by 8 lakh as compared to the last state board exams.

The Board has started preparing to conduct the examination in a peaceful way and around 31 districts have been marked sensitive. The UP Board exams 2017 will be held simultaneously at around 11,500 test centers.

Class 10 exams will start with Hindi as the first paper, while last paper will be of Drawing. Class 12 exams will commence with Hindi (1st paper) and Urdu (2nd paper) will be the last. The exams will be conducted in two shifts: first shift from 7.30 am to 10.45 am and second shift from 2 pm to 5.15 pm, initial 15 minutes will be allotted for filling details in answer sheet and reading question paper.
