The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the admit card of aspirants who will take Excise Constable written exam (screening test), scheduled to be held on September 25. The candidates are required to go through a screening test to prove their eligibility for recruitment as Excise Constable (Abkari Sipahi) under Department of Excise, Uttar Pradesh Government. The recruitment is going on to fill 405 posts of Excise Constables.
Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) had earlier concluded the online application process in May and later notified the written exam to be held in September. The selection process consists of three stages – screening test, physical test, and interview. The written exam would act as a screening test and hence the marks obtained by the candidates in the written exam wold not be considered for final selection.
The screening test would be of 90 marks, while the selection of the candidates would be done through a physical test and interview which holds the weightage of 60 marks and 20 marks respectively. The screening test would consist of three parts : Hindi Language, General Aptitude Ability & Elementary Mathematics, and General Knowledge test. Each part would be of 30 marks. The physical test would consist of a 3-mile race, long jump and cricket ball throw.
The candidates who have not downloaded UPSSSC admit card yet can do so from the official website of the Commission. The admit card can be downloaded through registration number and date of birth.
