UPSEE 2017 application process commenced on 18th January and will continue up to 28th February. The State Entrance Examination would be administered in April. AKTU; Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh has been entrusted with the responsibility of holding the exam. Earlier, it was decided that the application process would be carried out from 15 January, however, the same was delayed by three days and the process could commence from 18 January only.
UPSEE 2017 will serve as an entrance examination for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The students seeking admission in undergraduate programs (B.Tech/ B.Pharm/ BHMCT/ BFAD/ BFA/ Lateral entry to 2nd year of B.Tech/ B.Pharm) and postgraduate programs (MBA/ MCA/ Dual Degree and Direct admission to 2nd year of MCA) in the institutions across Uttar Pradesh State will have to appear for UPSEE 2017. The entrance exam will be applicable for admissions in the academic session 2017-18 only.
The application process of UPSEE 2017 is completely online and hence the candidates are required to head towards of the official website (www.upsee.nic.in) for filling the application form. As the application process commenced from 18 January (11 am), it would be closed at 5 pm on 28 February. The entrance exam fee has been increased this time and will be Rs. Rs 1200 General & OBC category and Rs 600 for Female candidates, SC, ST and PH category candidates. The fee payment can be made through credit card or debit card or net banking only.
UPSEE 2017 would be conducted in 41 cities of Uttar Pradesh and 8 other cities, viz. Bhopal, Dehradun, Delhi, Patna, Ranchi, Jaipur, Kolkata and Mumbai. The entrance exam has been divided into 11 papers, depending on the courses and hence it would be conducted in OMR based for some papers and as a computer-based test for others. The exam dates are 16, 22 and 23 April.
