UPPSC RO ARO prelims exam 2016 answer key released with question paper

The answer keys for UPPSC RO ARO prelims exam 2016 with question papers is being published by several online forums. While the official answer keys will take few days to be out, candidates can use these unofficial answer keys to cross-check their performance in the exam. UPPSC RO ARO answer key 2016 (pdf) will be uploaded on the official website (www.uppsc.up.nic.in) this week for the candidates who sat for the exam.

UPPSCUttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) conducted the RO/ARO preliminary exam yesterday on November 27 at test venues set up across the State. Over 3.85 lakh candidates were issued admit cards for the exam, the exact detail of attendance recorded in the exam is yet to be out. As per the preliminary reports, the exam was conducted peacefully across all the venues.

UPPSC, the Commission had issued advertisement no. A-3/E-1/2-16 on September 27 for filling around 361 posts (including 5 backlog posts). These posts include Review Officer (Samiksha Adhikari) and Assistant Review Officer (Sahayak Samiksha Adhikari) posts. However, as the exam date approached, 46 posts were removed by the Commission. The removed vacancies include 30 posts in Uttar Pradesh Sachivalya (U.P. Secretariat) and 16 posts in UP Vidhan Parishad Sachivalaya (U.P. Legislative Council Secretariat). The applications for the Samiksha Adhikari and Sahayak Samiksha Adhikari posts were submitted from September 27 to October 27, 2016.

The selection process includes a preliminary exam and a main exam. As much as 3,85,191 candidates were issued admit cards for the prelims exam, this figure includes the candidates who had given the exam in 2014. UPPSC had scheduled the prelims exam across 827 centers in 21 districts and the candidates were notified of their respective exam venue through the admit card.

UPPSC RO / ARO prelims exam consisted of 200 questions divided among two parts. Part 1 (General Studies) had 140 questions, while Part 2 – General Hindi (General Vocabulary and Grammer) consisted of 60 questions. The prelims exam was conducted in two shifts today; first shift from 9.30 am to 11.30 am, followed by the second shift from 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm.

One website Aglasem.com, unofficial yet credible, is updating the answer keys of the exam. All the question papers have been uploaded there already. Candidates can check them here.

Out of all applicants who have taken the preliminary exam held on November 27, around 5,670 will be shortlisted for the main examination (based on the current vacancies) as the candidates equal to 18 times the number of vacancies will be declared eligible for main exam. Such candidates will be required to fill another application form.
