The application form submission process for UPMT 2015 have been commenced from 23rd March and will be taken up to last date to submit forms, 25 April. The exam has been scheduled to be conducted on 17th May, 2015 as per official notification placed by authorities. The process of application form submission for UPMT 2015 will entirely be online. Candidates are advised to remain updated about the release date in the website hnbumu.ac.in.
The Uttarakhand Pre-Medical Test conducted every year to select applicants for the courses in medicals. The Admit Card for candidates applying for UPMT 2015 will be issued in the 1st week of May, this year. UPMT 2015 is conducted by Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU), at Dehradun. The entire detailed program of UPMT 2015 had been available in the HNBUMU official website from 20th March, 2015.
Since UPMT application form 2015 can only be submitted online using official website entitled to the entire proceedings about this entrance test, aspiring students are required to official online portal mentioned above and follow through the notification before moving forward to fill and register. Candidates will be required to apply for both courses MBBS as well as BDS from there.
Fee Details- Fees of application forms along with the prospectus this year is Rs. 1700 and Rs. 1200 for The General and OBC caste applicants and SC/SC caste candidates respectively.
Eligibility Criteria UPMT 2015:
Qualifications details – The aspiring applicant must have passed the 10+2/HSC or equivalent courses with major subjects like physics, chemistry and biology. Aggregate marks required for general category candidates and SC/ST/OBCs category candidates is 50% and 40% respectively.
The candidates who are appearing for their 10+2 examination in March this year are also eligible for the entrance test of UPMT 2015. The admission in preferred medical courses (MBBS and Dental) is subjected to the passing marks/ranks and satisfaction of the eligible criteria.
Age Limitation for UPMT 2015 – Minimum age of the applying candidates is 17 years.
Nationality – Indian.
Other requirements – Both domiciled or permanent residents and non-domiclied or permanent residents of Uttarakhand who have passed the HSC examination or equivalent course from any institute of repute of the state are also eligible for UPMT 2015. Aspiring candidates of UPMT 2015 can admit in their desired courses as per their eligibility and scores obtained in the entrance test.
UPMT Exam Details:
UMPT will provide admissions to the colleges and Universities offering admissions in MBBS and BDS courses in Uttarakhand state only. The complete admission process consists of entrance test followed by results and rank list declaration. The students will then attend the counselling as per the directed instructions and details from HNB University and will get to choose their college and course keeping in mind their rank and choice.
The examination for both MBBS and BDS courses will be taken on the same day 17th May 2015. The students must confirm their forms submission before last date in order to avoid any last minute hassle or form rejection.
Examination centres- Examination for UPMT 2015 is conducted in all the major places such as Chandigarh, Indore, Dehradun, Varanasi, Delhi, Lucknow, Jalandhar and Jaipur.
Admit Cards Issue:
The written test of UPMT requires the Admit Card/Call Letter to be downloaded from hnbumu.ac.in (UPMT-2015 conducting university). Applicants have to register themselves with their Roll number, Date of birth and other information asked in the application form. Now after carefully viewing the particulars they have to submit the information to download the visible admit card. The candidates have to take a printout of the Admit Card which is the Hall Ticket for UPMT 2015.
