UP SI admit card 2017, UP Police SI admit card has been released by the UP Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (UPPRPB). The examination for filling Sub Inspector (Male/ Female) posts will be conducted in online mode by PRPB from December 12 to 22 and the applicants can now download UP Police SI admit card from the official website of UPPRPB.
UP Police Recruitment Board had initiated the Sub Inspector recruitment process to fill 2400 SI (Male) and 600 SI (Female) posts under SI Recruitment 2016. The examination was initially conducted from July 17, but the paper was cancelled due to paper leak. As per the report from UPPRPB, total 6,30,926 applications have been submitted for UP Police SI recruitment. This includes 5,42,124 applications for SI (Male) and 88,802 SI (Female) posts.
In a notice issued on November 30, UPPRPB had announced that the computer-based test will be conducted from December 12 and the admit card will be issued on December 6 for all registered applicants. As of today, UP SI admit card 2017 is available for Sub Inspector (Male) exam only and the Sub Inspector admit card for Female posts is expected to be available in the evening. The candidates can download UP Police SI admit card from the official website www.prpb.gov.in.
The UP Police SI admit card download link is not working properly due to traffic, hence the candidates are advised to try in some time interval. The Direct link to download UP SI admit card is given here. The candidates will have to enter their application number and date of birth to get their admit card.
Once the Sub Inspector admit card is generated, the candidates should take the print out of it and affix self-attested passport size latest colour photo on it. On the exam day, the candidates will have to carry the admit card and one valid ID card (Aadhaar Card/ Voter ID/ Driving License/ Passport/ PAN card) in original. The candidates will have to report 90 minutes before the scheduled start of the exam.
Uttar Pradesh Police SI Exam: The paper will have 160 objective type questions, each having 2.50 marks. There will be four sections: General Hindi; Basic Law/ Constitution/ General Knowledge; Numerical & Mental Ability Test and Mental Aptitude Test/ I.Q. Test/ Reasoning. Each section will have 40 questions (100 marks), hence total maximum marks will be 400. The test duration will be 2 hours.
There will be no negative marking in the UP Police SI exam. The candidates are required to score minimum 50% (50 marks) in each section. The candidates will be shortlisted for the further selection process based on the merit of online exam. For the online exam, UPPRPB has also provided mock test facility at its official website.
