Board of Revenue UP yet to release Admit Cards for Lekhpal Accountant Test

Board of Revenue will be conducting written test for Lekhpal/ accountant against the recruitment notified in June this year. The admit cards for the accepted applicants were to be released and availed by the board from 20 August, however, the board has failed to do so.

Whereas the test date was scheduled and notified officially, the admission card for entry into exam premises have not been issued at official portal by the board. The delay has happened not once but twice and it is uncertain so far to say about the dates of availability of the same.

Since, the board has not revised test dates, the admit cards are expected to be released any day now. Any official notification regarding the matter remains yet to be placed at official site yet, therefore baffling the applicants.

The examination is presently scheduled to be conducted next month on 13th September, 2015. The candidates who had applied for the post of accountant in prescribed format will be eligible to sit for the exam. Applicants who had filled the form will be able to download the admit card from the official website. The candidates will not be allowed to sit for the given exam without their admit cards.

Initially the admit cards were to be availed from 10th August, 2015 but the board revealed that the revised date of the Uttar Pradesh Lekhpal Exam will be announced shortly. The expected date of release of the admit cards is 20th August, 2015. Prior to that the candidates will not be be to download the admit cards.

The written test will be based on multiple choice questions consists of four papers namely mathematics, general knowledge, Hindi, village society and development. Each subject will consists of 25 questions. Each right answer will credit 1 marks while there is a negative marking for worng answers. The written exam will carry 80 marks and interview will be of 20 marks.

The candidates wish to join the post of accountant under boards Of Revenue, UP will have to undergo a written examination. Those who will successfully qualify the written test will be called for interview process. The selection is based completely on final merit list which will be declared after the completion of interview process.
