UP Jal Nigam is going to conduct computer based examination for the recruitment of Junior Engineer (JE) on December 6 & 7. The candidates who have applied for UP Jal Nigam Junior Engineer recruitment can download the admit card from the official website www.upjn.org.
The online registrations for Junior Engineer posts were submitted from October 31 to November 20. The recruitment process aims to fill total 853 posts of Junior Engineers that includes 727 JE (Civil) posts and 126 JE (Electrical/Mechanical) posts.
UP Jal Nigam has finalised two-stage selection process that includes an online exam (first stage) and interview (second stage). The first stage online exam is scheduled to be held on December 6 & 7 and the candidates are required to get their respective admit card to appear for the exam. The exam would be conducted across 13 cities – Agra, Allahabad, Bareilly, Gorakhpur, Greater Noida, Jhansi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Mathura, Meerut, Moradabad, Varanasi and Ghaziabad. The candidates can know about the exam venue through the admit card that were uploaded by the Jal Nigam on November 26, 2016.
The online exam would consist of three sections :
- General Intelligence & Reasoning – 15 marks
- General Awareness – 15 marks
- Technical (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical) – 50 marks
There will be 80 questions in the online exam and each question will be of 1 mark. There will be no negative marking in the exam. UP Jal Nigam would prepare a merit list based on the online exam and the candidates securing meritorious position will be called for interview. The final selection would be based on total 100 marks that includes 80 marks of exam and 20 marks of interview.
UP Jal Nigam JE admit card would remain available till the exam date, however, the candidates are advised to get their admit card at the earliest without waiting for the final day.
