UP Board 10th Result: 81.6% students pass, Tejasvi Devi emerges topper

UP Board result has been officially declared by Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP). Though the results are still being uploaded on the official website upresults.nic.in, examresults.net is currently hosting Class 12th results and Class 10th results will also be available shortly.

Update: upmsp.edu.in has updated UP Board result for both Class 10th and 12th students.

Tejasvi Devi from Fatehpur has emerged as the topper in UP Board 10th result 2017 with securing 95.83%.

UP Board result 2017 of class 10 are going to be published on June 9, 2017. As per reports, the date of UP board result announcement is almost confirmed and UP 10th result 2017 will be out by the said date.

So, the much awaited and probably one of the biggest board exam result – UP Board 10th result 2017 will be released on 9th June, by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) at its headquarters in Allahabad and after the official announcement, the results will be made available online for the students. The results are scheduled to be announced at 12 noon this Friday and will be hosted at the official websites www.upresults.nic.in and upmspresults.up.nic.in.

As much as 60,29,152 students were registered for Uttar Pradesh Board exams this year, comprising of 34,04,571 Class 10 students (regular & private). Overall, 54,66,531 students had appeared for the board exams which also includes Class 12 students. The UP Board result Class 10 & Class 12 will be announced at the same time by the Board.

This academic session, specially the examination, has been quite a burdening for the students. This started with the commencement of the board exams as the initial schedule got delayed due to the Assembly Elections in the State. This forced the board to reschedule the exams. Finally, the board exams started from March 16, while the Class 10 last exam was conducted on April 1, the Class 12 exams ended on April 21. The evaluation of answer sheets started from April 27 at around 250 centers, for which nearly 1.37 lakh teachers were assigned. There were as much as 4.6 crore answer sheets to be checked this year, a report said.

Around 11,500 test centers across the State hosted the board exams. During the board exams, approximately 1,500 students were caught using unfair means. Even FIRs were lodged against 178 invigilators. Cracking on the erring exam centers, the exams at 54 centers were cancelled, while 57 centers were put on the blacklist.

Following the declaration of UP Board 10th result 2017, the students will be able to check their scores in the respective subject papers. The original mark sheet and passing certificate will be provided to the students within 15 days of result and the same shall have to be conducted from the respective school/ colleges.

UP Board 10th result 2017 will be published online at multiple portals simultaneously. The official websites for UP Board result 2017 are upresults.nic.in, upmsp.edu.in and upmspresults.up.nic.in. The result will also be available at some third-party result portals including IndiaResults.com and ExamResults.net. Once available, the students will have to feed their board exam roll number to access the result.

In 2016, the overall pass percentage as per UP Board High School result came out to be 87.66%, which was 3.92% higher than that of the previous year. The Girls had performed better than the Boys with as much as 91.11% girls passing the exam as against of 84.82% boys. In fact, all the three toppers were girls last year.
