UP B.Ed admit card 2017 released at www.upbed.nic.in

UP B.Ed admit card 2017 for B.Ed JEE scheduled on May 3 have been released now. The details regarding admit card of Uttar Pradesh (UP) B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2017 have been uploaded at the official website www.upbed.nic.in now.

Total 4,64,676 candidates have registered for the exam this year, an increase of over 1.5 lakh applications as compared to the last year. As the UP Bed admit card for Joint Entrance Exam has been uploaded, the candidates can get the same from official website www.upbed.nic.in.

Lucknow University will be holding the B.Ed entrance exam for the third time now. The entrance exam is conducted every year in the State for admissions to around 1.6 lakh seats in B.Ed colleges of the State. All the admissions will be done through counselling based on the entrance exam results. The counselling for B.Ed admissions will commence from June 1 and the academic session will start from July 1. The detailed schedule of counselling will be declared once the results will be out.

UP B.Ed entrance exam will be conducted at 905 test centers in 16 cities of the State viz. Agra, Aligarh, Allahabad, Azamgarh, Ballia, Bareilly, Faizabad, Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Jaunpur, Jhansi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Meerut, Moradabad, and Varanasi. Ballia has been added as a test city from this year. The university has received maximum applications from Lucknow city, therefore, Lucknow city has been divided into two zones – Cis Gomti and Trans Gomti to conduct the exam efficiently.

UP B.Ed. Entrance Exam Pattern:

UP B.Ed JEE will be conducted in two shifts on May 3; Paper 1 in morning shift from 8 am to 11 am and Paper 2 in afternoon shift from 1 pm to 4 pm. Paper 1 will have 100 questions divided equally among two sections: General Knowledge and Language (Hindi/ English). Each question will carry 2 marks and the total marks in Paper 1 will be 200.

Similarly, Paper 2 will also have two sections: General Aptitude Test  and Subject-specific (Arts/ Science/ Commerce/ Agriculture). Both the sections will have 50 questions each and total marks for Paper 2 will be 200.

UP B.Ed Admit Card

Lucknow University has issued the admit cards for B.Ed entrance exam. The candidates can download UP Bed admit card 2017 from the official website by using their respective registration number and date of birth. The candidates are required to download two copies of Bed JEE admit card and paste photo (same as uploaded in the application form) in specific place.

The candidates who could not upload the photographs and signatures due to technical reasons but filled rest of the application form will be allowed to take the written test, the university said in a release. The candidates will have to submit one printed copy of admit card to the invigilator during the exam.
