Amidst the busy life of the top business school, IIM Ahmedabad, a Chaos occurred. But this chaos occurred to rejuvenate the brilliant tired minds. Perhaps IIMA follows the rule of ‘Work Hard but Party Harder’.
In IIM Ahmedabad, Chaos is the cultural festival which happens every year, popularly known as IIMA Chaos. It is the biggest B-school cultural festival in Asia and the biggest college event in Gujarat. This flamboyant event attracts over 60,000 people including 12,000 participants from over 600 national and 50 international institutes and colleges. This year, the event is of 4 days compared to 3 day-affair last year.
IIMA Chaos has started from 23rd January and will end tomorrow. In this 4-day event, several professional artists have performed. Besides performance, many cultural competitions took place such as dance, music and fashion, workshops, games, dramatics, literary, quiz, painting and more fun events. People within the institute as well as outside the campus actively participated in the event. Being the annual cultural festival of India’s most premier management college, Chaos is a prime attraction and receives participation of students from across all disciplines of professional education.
In the row of events, on the first day, there was a power packed DJ night by DJ Aceaxe. On 24th Raghu Dixit performed, who is a front man of the multilingual folk band, Raghu Dixit Project. Following it, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Kumar Vishwas made the event more exciting by his poetry.
Yesterday there was a blend of music and comedy, which caught nerves. Rohan Joshi and Kaneez Surka made a stand-up comedy then, coke studio with Papon made evening beautiful. Femina Miss India pageant also held in the campus where the selected Campus Princess would compete for subsequent rounds for Femina Miss India.
To make last day more thrilling, Israel’s Band Ouzoo Bazooka will perform from 6 PM. After all this, Mohit Chauhan with his soothing voice will add more to this ultimate extravagance.
