In an official notification, UKSSSC has announced to recruit 1546 candidates across 17 Teaching and Non-Teaching post and 221 vacancies for 16 posts for Technician, Stenographer and other posts.
The online application has been started from 22nd January 2017. Interested candidates can fill the application form till 12th March 2017 and the payment for the application form is opened till 14th March. However, the candidates are advised to complete payment process early to avoid the last hour rush. Eligible candidates should apply online at the official site i.e. www.uksssc.in.
The candidates should be passed intermediate from Uttarakhand University and other eligibility conditions can be checked in official notification. The application fee for general and OBC candidates is 300/- while for others (Uttarakhand domicile only) including ex-servicemen it is 150/-.
The candidates applying for different posts will have to appear for a written exam upon which further selection process will be done. The date of written exam has to be announced yet.
This is a good opportunity for candidates to apply for Assistant teacher and Group C posts under the government of Uttarakhand. Candidates should recommend past year paper to assess the difficulty level and pattern of the paper. The competition is increasing day by day for government jobs so candidates should prepare themselves accordingly.
The examination will be in written mode. The question paper would contain multiple choice questions to check the general aptitude and general awareness of the candidates. A penalty of 1/4th marks will be given for the wrong attempt in the question paper. There would also be typing test for the required post to check the proficiency in the typing of the candidates. A general and OBC candidates should obtain a minimum of 45% marks in the written test to qualify the students and the rest of the candidates should obtain a minimum of 35% marks.
