Uttarakhand Board of School Education, Uttarakhand, is all set to declare All India Secondary School Examination results within a week from now. UBSE had conducted the board examination for class 10 and class 12 earlier this year. UK board result 2017 date of declaration is reported pushed farther to May 30.
The Uttarakhand Board result 2017 for the exams held in March/ April are likely to be delayed from its usual schedule. As per the latest findings, the results will now be declared on May 30, rather than the expected date of May 26. Around 2.87 lakh students were registered for the board exams this year. Uttarakhand Board 12th result will be announced along with 10th results at the official website www.uaresults.nic.in.
Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) holds the responsibility to regulate the education curricula in the State and also to hold the annual board exams. There are around 10,000 government schools affiliated to the Uttarakhand Board UBSE which follow the curriculum framed by UBSE. The Board announces and publishes UK Board results at its official portals www.ubse.uk.gov.in and www.uaresults.nic.in.
The UK Board 12th class exams commenced from March 17 this year, while 10th class exams started from March 18. Usually, the exams begin in the first week of March, however, the State Assembly Elections delayed the schedule. The Uttarakhand Vidhyalayi Shiksha Parishad (UVSP / UBSE) had set up 1,319 exam centers across the State for the conduct of board examinations. As much as 27,932 students were registered from Dehradun alone, for whom the exams were conducted across 129 centers.
As the exams concluded on April 10, the board started the assessment of answer sheets. The assessment/ evaluation of answer sheets started from April 17. As per a statement by UBSE Chairman Rakesh Kumar Kunwar given earlier this month, the assessment work was completed by the first week of May, following which the audit work was to be done.
Recently, a meeting was held on May 17 to decide on the UK Board result date. UBSE Chairman presided over the meeting and after the conclusion of the meeting, he said the exams commenced 15 days late but the assessment work was completed in time. He further said the result date has not been decided yet and another meeting will be called by May 25 to zero in on the date.
In 2016, the result of Class 10th & 12th was declared on the same day, May 25. However, this time the results are expected to be out on May 30. While multiple reports are hinting that the results may get announced on 26th May, the date has not been confirmed by the Board yet.
A total of 1,53,813 students were registered for Class 10th exams this year, comprising of 1,48,230 regular students and 5,583 private students. Meanwhile, another 1,33,417 students who were registered for Class 12th exams are also waiting for the announcement of UK Board results. This includes 1,25,087 regular students and around 8,330 private ones.
