Two weeks to go for JEE main 2017; get your admit card

There is no denying the fact that JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) is the biggest entrance test in the country. Every year lakhs of students appear in the examination to secure a seat in the supreme Engineering colleges. On Tuesday, 14th March, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the admit cards for the Joint Entrance Examinations- Mains (JEE Main 2017). The admit cards are available in the JEE (Main) website from where the students can download them.

To download the admit card, the students have to provide their application number, date of birth, security pin, and then proceed to login. This will lead you to a page flashing your admit card. Print the screen and save the screen shot on your computer for future reference.

The Central Board of Secondary Education has advised all the students to download the admit card from the official JEE-Mains website only to ensure the authenticity. The authorities have further advised the students to check their relevant information on the admit card such as Name, date of Birth, paper, Gender, city, Test Center Name, state, code of eligibility and category etc. In case any discrepancy is found, the same should be reported to the JEE-M secretariat on an immediate basis.

No entry would be entertained in the examination hall without admit card. If a student belongs to the physical disable category, he/she must carry the proof of disability viz certificate of disability to the examination centers.

The examination conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education is to be held in two phases. The paper and pen mode would take place on 2nd of April while the online mode would be conducted on 8th and 9th of April.

JEE-Mains is a mandatory examination for those students who are dreaming their future in NITs, IITs, and IIITs. It also enables the students to secure admission in reputed deemed universities and other alleged centrally funded technical colleges.

The entrance examination is a two-phase examination wherein the first phase is paper and pen as well as online mode oriented but the second phase paper and pen mode only. The first paper is for BE/B.Tech and the second paper is for B. Arch/ B Planning.

Once the students are clear through the JEE-Mains they are eligible to appear for JEE-Advanced 2017.
