TSPSC gurukulam PGT PGT prelims exam is poised to be held on May 28 and the hall tickets were to be issued yesterday. However, it’s 21st May and TSPSC has not notified of the release of the hall tickets for that exam. With just 7 days to go for the exam and with a missed deadline, it is expected that TSPSC gurukulam hall tickets will be out today.
Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) will soon release the hall tickets for Post Graduate Teachers In Residential Educational Institutions Societies. The candidates will be able download the hall tickets from the official website of TSPSC. Hall tickets for the preliminary exam are expected to be available for download 7 days prior to the test. The preliminary test is scheduled to be held on May 28, 2017 and the Main Examination (Objective Type) is likely to be held during June, 2017. The exam can be held either in COMPUTER BASED mode or OFFLINE OMR based mode for the objective type test.
The exam is being held for 5289 government teacher posts in the state. Interested candidates were given May 4, 2017 as the last date to apply for the TSPSC teacher posts.

- Hence the total number of posts is 921.
Scheme of Preliminary Examination – The question paper of Preliminary (Screening Test) will be supplied in English version only. The question paper of Main examination will be supplied in English version only except languages. In the Preliminary Screen Test the 150 questions to be answered will be based upon General Studies, General Abilities and Basic Proficiency in English. Duration of the exam is 150 minutes and the marks too are 150.
Scheme of the Main Examination – The questions thus asked will be objective type. Paper – I will feature 150 questions based on Pedagogy of Concerned. Duration is 150minutes and the total marks are also 150. Paper – II will also feature 150 questions based on Subject Discipline Knowledge/Concerned Subject. Duration is 150minutes and the total marks are also 150.
Centres For The written Examination – The Screening Test will be held at HYDERABAD (including HMDA Jurisdiction) only or all erstwhile District headquarters. The Main (Objective Type) Examination will be held at HYDERABAD (including HMDA Jurisdiction) only.
Selection Process – The applicants will be subjected to a “Preliminary (Screening Test)” of Objective Type for the purpose of short listing the number of candidates to be admitted to the main examination (Objective Type) and the marks secured by the candidates in the preliminary (Screening Test) will not be counted for the purpose of final selection.
The candidates will be picked up for the main examination based on their performance in preliminary examinations in the ratio of 1:15 in their respective categories duly following the Rule of reservation. Those candidates who qualify in the Main Examination (Objective Type) in order of merit will be called for verification. The minimum qualifying marks for Selection are OCs 40%, BCs 35% SCs, STs and PHs 30%.
