Telangana Police SI Final Exam : Key to be released at tslprb.in

TSLPRB has commenced the final written examination (FWE) for the recruitment of Sub-Inspectors. Around 33,000 candidates were declared qualified in the physical efficiency tests and were issued hall tickets for the final exam. TS SI Final exam is scheduled for November 19, 20 & 27, 2016. TSLPRB had notified to fill total 510 posts of SCT Sub-Inspectors (Civil/AR/SAR/TSSP) in Police Deparment, SI (Men) in SPF and Station Fire Officers in TS Disaster Response & Fire Services Department and 23 posts of SI of Police (Communication) and 6 posts of SI of Police (Police Transport Organization). Around 1.87 lakh candidates appeared for the preliminary exam and 91,034 candidates were called for Physical Efficiency Tests in June/July. Only 75,758 candidates attended the PMT/PET, out of which 65,634 qualified PMT and finally 32,457 qualified PET.

As the final written exam commenced on November 19, as much as 97 percent candidates were recorded present on the first day. The final exam of SI (Civil/AR/SAR/TSSP/SPF/SFO) consisted of four papers :

  • Paper 1 – Arithmetic & Test of Reasoning/Mental Ability
  • Paper 2 – General Studies
  • Paper 3 – English
  • Paper 4 – Language Test (Telugu/Urdu)

Paper 1 and 2 consisted of objective type questions, while Paper 3 & 4 are descriptive.

The SI (Civil/etc) final exam is scheduled as follows :

  • Paper 1 on 19 Nov from 10 am to 1 pm
  • Paper 2 on 19 Nov from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm
  • Paper 3 on 20 Nov from 10 am to 1 pm
  • Paper 4 on 20 Nov from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm

As Paper 1 & 2 have concluded on Saturday, it is expected that TSLPRB would soon release the SI key. The minimum marks in the final written exam is 40% for OCs, 35% for BCs and 30% for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen. For some selected posts, Paper 3 & 4 are qulaifying in nature, while the final merit list will be based on the marks scored by the candidats in Paper 1 & 2.

The final written exam for SI (Communications/PTO) consists of three papers :

  • Paper 1 (English) – 100 marks
  • Paper 2 (Arithmetic and Test of Reasoning/Mental Ability) – 100 marks
  • Paper 3 (Technical Paper) – 200 marks

For SI Comm. & PTO, only Paper 1 is objective, while other two papers are objective. Paper 1 is scheduled to be held on November 20 from 10 am to 1 pm while paper 2 has already been conducted on November 19. Paper 3 would be held on November 27 in two shifts : from 10 am to 1 pm for SI Communications and from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm for SI PTO.

For SI (Comm/PTO), paper 1 is qualifying in nature and the candidates are required to obtain minimum qualifing marks in it. The final selection will be based on paper 2 and 3. The qualifying marks in the final exam are same as above.
