TSLPRB Constable Mains exam 2016 on Oct 23: Hall ticket released

The hall ticket for Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) has been released. TSLPRB constable mains or final written exam (FWE) date was already set as October 23rd, 2016 and the board issued the hall tickets on October 17.

The candidates who were declared qualified in the physical efficiency tests held earlier are eligible to appear for the written exam, following which the final selection list will be prepared. The TSLPRB Constable exam hall ticket can be downloaded from www.tslprb.in.

TSLPRBTelangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) had, last year, notified the recruitment process for filling 8,865 Constable posts in Police Department (Civil, AR, SAR CPL & TSSP), Special Protection Force (SPF) Department and 416 Firemen posts in Telangana State Disaster Response & Fire Services Department.

The selection process, as notified, is divided in four parts : preliminary written test, physical measurement test, physical efficiency test and final written examination. The preliminary exam was conducted on April 24 and the shortlisted candidates were invited to appear for PMTs and PETs. After the successful conclusion of PETs, the candidates were waiting for the announcement of final exam date. The Board had announced the exam date earlier, and the hall tickets have been released yesterday.

The final written exam for Police Constable (Civil) and Firemen would be of 200 marks, while for rest posts, the exam would carry the weightage of 100 marks only. Minimum marks for qualifying the written exam has been set as 40% for OCs, 35% for BCs and 30% for SCs/STs/Ex-Servicemen.

Based on the performance of the candidates in the final written exam, the Board would prepare a final merit list. The merit list for PC (Civil) and Firemen posts will be based on the final written exam (out of 200 marks) only, while for rest of the posts, the merit list will be prepared out of total 175 marks, including 75 marks for physical efficiency tests and 100 marks for final written exam.
