May 23, Update: TS TS 2017 hall ticket has been released at the official website (telanganaset.org) now. Candidates may download the TSSET hall tickets by providing their registration details.
Telangana State Eligibility Test – TS – SET-2017 Hall Tickets were supposed to be made available for download on May 20, 017. However, till now there is no latest update of the same on the official website. Telangana State – State Eligibility Test (TS-SET-2017) for the year 2017 will be conducted by Osmania University, Hyderabad on June 11, 2017. TSSET 2017 hall tickets would be uploaded on official portal www.telanganaset.org.
Candidates have to click the link “Download Examination Hall Ticket” once the link is available. Provide Unique Registration Number (URN) and print the Examination Hall Ticket. Thereafter, download and get a printout of the Examination Hall Ticket. It will not be sent by post. Candidate must carry the Examination Hall Ticket and also one additional photo identity such as Aadhar Card, Driving License, Voter ID, College/University Identity Card, PAN Card, etc, to the examination center on the day of the examination.
If your Examination Hall Ticket does not display the image of your photograph, you have to paste the photo at the appropriate place and get it attested from a competent authority. On the downloaded admit card, please confirm that your Name, Subject, Centre, etc, shown in the Examination Hall Ticket are correct. If there is any error in the Examination Hall Ticket please contact SET office immediately and submit a written application.
The online application of TS SET began on February 02, 2017 and got concluded May 16, 2017 with late fee of Rs. 3000. The aspiring candidates were allowed to submit their applications through online mode only. The registration fee was Rs.1000/- (for General Category), Rs. 800/- (for BC Category) and Rs. 500/- (for SC/ST/PWD Category) which can be paid through payment gateway (Credit card/Debit card/Net banking).
Scheme of Examination – The TS-SET will be conducted in objective mode. The test will consist of three papers. All the three papers will consist of multiple choice questions and will be held on the day of examination in two separate sessions.
In Paper 1 to be held in First Session 60 out of which 50 questions are to be attempted. Each question carries 2 marks. Total Marks are 100. Time Duration is 1¼ Hours (09.30 am to10.45 am). In Paper 2 to be held in First Session 50 questions all of which are compulsory. Each question carries 2 marks. Total Marks are 100. Time Duration is 1¼ Hours (10.45 am to 12.00 noon). In Paper 3 to be held in Second Session 75 questions all of which are compulsory. Each question carries 2 marks. Total Marks are 150. Time Duration is 2½ Hours (01.30 pm to 04.00 pm).
Examination Centres of TS SET: The SET examination will be conducted in Seven-Regional Centres namely: Adilabad, Hyderabad, Karimnagar, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Nizamabad, and Warangal.
Syllabus of TS SET – As per the UGC guidelines the CSIR/UGC-NET syllabus has been adopted for the conduct of TS-SET for all the 29 subjects for which accreditation is given by UGC. Question paper for Paper-I is common for all subjects in which SET is conducted and it will be bilingual (English and Telugu). Paper-II and Paper-III of certain subjects will also be bi-lingual
