TS ICET was conducted for the first time for admission to MBA courses of all the Universities in Telangana State and their affiliated institutes. The preliminary answer key of TS ICET 2017 has been released on May 21, 2017. Telangana ICET was a 150 minutes exam consisting of 200 questions in all. Each question carried one mark; hence the total marks scored by candidates will be out of 200 marks.

After the announcement of the results, candidates will be further shortlisted based on the cutoff of TS ICET 2017. The cutoff will be released by the participating institutes of Telangana offering two-year MBA programmes. It will be announced in the form of ranks which will decide the final admission procedure and eligibility of the candidates.

The exam conducting body has not released the official dates of the counselling rounds. However, the admission process for Telangana’s top level B-Schools offering MBA programmes will be completed only when the candidates shortlisted will attend the full counselling of TS ICET 2017.

TS ICET Cut Off – It is likely that the cutoff ranks will remain similar to those declared last year. Based on the trends, this year’s cutoff is likely to be 50 out of 200 marks. TSCHE states that cutoff is 25 percent of the total allotted marks, which are 200 in this case. Hence the cutoff marks are likely to be 50 (25 per cent of 200). It will be prepared based on the performance of the candidates in exam along with the minimum marks required to qualify for the counselling rounds.

TS ICET Counselling – The counselling will involve document verification. The final seat allotment will take place basis the ranks acquired by the candidates in the cutoff and the availability of the seats. The venue of the counselling will remain same as the 16 exam centres across Telangana. The schedule for counselling remains the same for candidates belonging to different categories, however, venues of TS ICET counselling 2017 will be different. A counselling fee has to be paid by the candidates at the time of attending the counselling.
