Telangana TS EAMCET hall ticket finally released for 12 May Exam

While it was announced that the TS EAMCET hall ticket will be made available in the evening yesterday itself, the failure in doing so irked the applicants. It is only today that the hall tickets have been made available for download. The applicants can now download TS EAMCET hall ticket 2017 from the official website eamcet.tsche.ac.in. Telangana State (TS) Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test, commonly called as EAMCET, will be held on May 12. Unlike EAMCET in Andhra Pradesh, TS EAMCET will be a written test (offline).

The test this year is only for engineering and agriculture studies aspirants as MBBS and BDS admissions will be done through NEET.

Hall tickets download

To download TS EAMCET hall ticket 2017, candidates may visit the official website eamcet.tsche.ac.in. The council has not notified of the timing but expect hall tickets to be uploaded around afternoon (12 noon).

Exam report:

Preliminary data suggests that close to 2 lakh candidates will be taking the TS EAMCET on May 12, 2017. AP EAMCET held last week, was taken by 2.76 lakh candidates.

The number of takers for 2017 EAMCET is an increasing trend as compared to previous years. In 2015, 2.32 lakh took the test which including engineering, agricultural as well as medical aspirants. However in 2016, the test faced severe difficulties for medical aspirants but engineering test was held on time. For engineering, 1.44 lakh had appeared.

This year though, coming off of a rough year in 2016, the council has made elaborate arrangements for the smooth conduct of TS EAMCET 2017. The test will be conducted at 27 places, of them 6 are in and around Hyderabad.

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Hyderabad (JNTU-H) is carrying out the proceedings of TS EAMCET 2017 on behalf of TSCHE.

Exam pattern:

In the test, 160 multiple choice questions will be asked for maximum 160 marks, means each question is for 1 mark. The paper will consist of 3 sections i.e., Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Maths section will have 80 question for 80 marks while Physics & Chemistry will have each have 40 questions for 40 marks.

Exam schedule: 

Test for both streams are scheduled on May 12, 2017 (Friday).

  • Engineering test timings: 10 am to 1 pm
  • Agriculture exam timings: 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

Instructions:

The candidates should note that EAMCET hall tickets would not be dispatched to them by post/courier and can only be downloaded from the Council’s website (eamcet.tsche.ac.in). Candidate’s registration number and date of birth, or else the login details of EAMCET registration will be required to access the hall tickets.

The details of test venue, seating arrangement and instructions for Do’s and Don’ts will be imprinted on the hall ticket itself.

After exam:

The preliminary key for the test will be officially released on May 13. The council will also invite objections from the candidates from May 13 to May 18. After sorting out the objections, the final key will be published along with results on May 22nd, 2017.

The ranks will be published few days after the results which will finally commence the counselling and admission process.
