Education Minister of Telangana State, Kadiyam Srihari announced the TS EAMCET 2015 result at J. N. Auditorium in Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad. JNTU conducted the Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test for initiating admissions to various professional courses offered in Universities / Private colleges in the newly formed State. This was the first biggest exam since the formation of State and 2,20,536 students took the exam to grab a seat in engineering, agriculture and medical courses.
TS EAMCET 2015 was taken on 14 May in which 1,28,174 students appeared for Engineering stream and 92,362 students appeared for Agriculture and Medical stream admissions. The results for the entrance test are now available at the official web portal and students can access the result using their hall ticket number. Upon successful completion of result request, subject wise marks as well as rank will be displayed. Students are advised to take the print out of the result page as it will be useful at the time of counselling.
Before the formation of Telangana as a new State, AP EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh EAMCET) was conducted under the guidance of APSCHE. This year, AP EAMCET and TS EAMCET were conducted separately for admissions to Institutions in both the States. AP EAMCET results were announced on 21 May 2015.
Major courses in which admission will be provided are : B.Tech, MBBS, BDS, B.Sc. (Agriculture), B.Sc. (Horticulture), BAMS, BHMS, B.Pharm, etc. The list of all the courses and the availability of seats is depicted in the official brochure of TS EAMCET 2015.
TS EAMCET was conducted by JNTU Hyderabad on the behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education on 14 May and the University has successfully declared the result of all students. The admission process will be initiated soon, the details of which will soon be released online.
