The road ahead for SSC Supplementary Exams

maharashtra ssc supplementary exam 2016Maharashtra education board has issued a notification for supplementary exams for SSC students as the annual exams results were announced on June 6 for total 16,01,406 students. Out of total students, 14,34,143 students were declared pass in SSC examination, the total pass percentage was recorded as 89.56. Now giving one more chance to the students who could not qualify the SSC exams, Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will be conducting supplementary exams in July-August.

“As per the orders of State government, Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education will conduct supplementary exams for SSC students in July-August 2016, instead of September-October 2016”, the official notification released at the official site of board reads.

Earlier the board used to conduct the SSC supplementary exams in September-October, but paying heed to the students’ valuable time, the board has decided to conduct supplementary exams in July-August. The board has also released detailed schedule for SSC supplementary exams, which will start on July 18 and will end on August 3.

Students are required to submit online applications for supplementary exams, the process can be exercised at official web portal of MSBSHSE, Students are also required to pay a nominal fee after filling the online application form. The online application filling process is going to start from June 10 and will continue till June 20, as the fee is to be submitted from June 21 to 24. If any student fails to submit the application form by June 20, the same can be done before June 24, however for that students will have to pay a late fee. Applications to be filled with late fee can be submitted latest by June 29.

Students who wish to improve their percentage in certain subjects can also appear in the SSC Supplementary exams. Such students will also have a chance to appear in the annual exams which will conducted in February-March next year.

Schools are required to submit the fee receipts with the list of students who have applied to the divisional board on June 30, the notification adds.
