Promoting Digital India, an official PMO app is ready to bring something unique in this country. This would enable Indian citizens to get easy updates from government’s important announcements and policies. Also, it would help people to share their opinions and ideas about the nation.
This app is created by the ‘Team Sanskriti’, a team of six youngsters from across the country. This team was selected for creating the app in January where thousands of contestants have participated. The team led by Raghav Sarin, an economics student at Delhi University’s Sri Venkateswara College, includes Gyan Lakhwani, Prajwal Seth, Preet S Khalsa, Naman Dwivedi, and Pranav Sethi. All the team members have aficionado for technology.
Team leader Raghav Sarin said the app is user-friendly which is made for the convenience of people and the team has done the job to maintain the quality of the app. He said this app would bring some changes in the perspective of the people and the nation will be proud of it. He also said the reason for creating this app to reduce the gap between the people and the government.
However, the team has to maintain the app for another year. The six-person team will visit the Google headquarters in California to interact engineers and Android’s team and will gain some more knowledge about app development.
The app is available in 10 different languages. It has very interesting features like news and social media updates, notification about government flagship programmes. People can listen Mann Ki Baat and watch videos of PM’s speeches. Also, people can also make donations in Prime Minister relief fund via this app.
