Super 30 student selected for education in Tokyo University

In an another remarkable incident, a student from Anand Kumar’s Super 30 got admission call from Tokyo University for higher studies. Kunal Kumar from Super 30 got the life time opportunity to pursue higher education from the Tokyo University.

Super 30 is a non-profitable education program run by Mr. Anand Kumar under banner of ‘Ramanujan School of Mathematics’. Under Super 30 program, Mr. Kumar selects 30 talented and meritorious students from economically weaker section of the society in order to train them for competitive exams like IIT JEE. Every year approximately every candidate from Super 30 gets selected to pursue their education in IITs who might not be able to do without proper coaching classes. Super 30 provides coaching to these students who are not able to pay for higher coaching institutes.

Kunal Kumar who was worried sick about his future studies few years back, took admission in Super 30 program. Son of a generator operator who got information about Super 30 scheme from one of his friends took admission in Super 30 program under Mr. Anand Kumar.

Earlier this year, another student from Super 30 got selected in the Tokyo University for higher studies. Abhishek Gupta, a resident from Bihar got the call letter from the following university just after he cleared JEE Mains.

As per Kunal Kumar, “Till four years ago, I was struggling even for proper education, even though I had high dreams. Entering into Super30 scheme by initiated by Mr. Anand Kumar change my life.”

In this recent achievement, Mr. Anand stated that, “It is good that Kunal has got this opportunity. International exposure in a technologically advanced nation like Japan will help him a lot.” Anand Kumar is happy with his students who find themselves in a good position after completing their course from Super 30 as he himself declined the offer made by Cambridge University in his youth due to financial problem.

Till now since the establishment of Super 30 scheme from 2002, he has helped more than 300 students to get admission in IITs. Tokyo University officials were quite impressed with the Super 30 scheme as they visited the institution earlier and has decided to offer free education to a selected number of candidates from economically backward class each year from the institute. The authorities from the University have invited Mr. Anand Kumar in order to set educational tie ups with the following university.

According to the University, the students selected from Super 30 scheme will be allowed to pursue higher education from the Tokyo University with full scholarship. The scholarship will include four years tuition fee (Rs 53.90 lakh per year), monthly allowance (Rs 12.68 lakh) and admission fees (Rs 28.36 lakh) in total.

According to mathematician Mr. Kumar, this would open a gateway for the deserving students to study in international university.
