Update: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has cancelled the Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) 2017 examination of afternoon shift (2nd shift) of April 30, 2017, as notice by Press Information Bureau (PIB) said here.
PIB noted that the the afternoon paper was found compromised and hence will be held again. The re-exam date has not been notified. The rest of the schedule also remains intact as of now.
Question paper of SSC MTS second shift (April 30) has reportedly, allegedly been leaked. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has commenced the written tests for Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) from today and first day, and even before the second shift began, the question paper with key was found circulating on social media.
Earlier today, Neetu Singh, the director of KD Campus, the coaching provider institution, uploaded some images of the question papers on her Facebook page and asked the students if this was the paper they received in the first shift which was held in morning (10 am to 12 noon). At the time, students couldn’t confirm. However, the paper turned out to be the same question paper that was distributed in 2nd shift exam today which was conducted from 2 pm to 4 pm.
In her Facebook post today, the Founder and Director of KD Campus has urged the Commission and PMO to address the issue and take concrete actions against the wrongdoers involved.
Official notice released by SSC
SSC has, in recent years, been struggling with the issues of paper leakage. Last year, the SSC CGL tier 1 exam was reportedly leaked. SSC had conducted the online tests for CGL August 27 to September 11, 2016 and later had notified officially that the paper for one batch would be re-conducted.
Even now, the commission’s in court regarding CHSL 2015 exam.
Now, ExamsWatch has e-mailed the Commission asking for clarity about the issue and also tried to contact the Commission. At this time, no further information is available on the topic. We’ll have more updates for you on Monday morning.
