SSC CHSL 2016 exam results: Uncertainty prevails over the results of Combined Higher Secondary Examination (CHSL) conducted by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) last year.
SSC was to announce the results of CHSL 2015-2016 examination on July 22 as per the notification issued on ssc.nic.in but with the holding of re-exam at once centre yesterday, the results are likely to be delayed by few days. The examination had been conducted in 2015 on 1st and 15th November, and 6th and 22nd December to fill around 6,578 posts of LDC, DEO and PA/SA.
Adding more the candidates’ dismay, SSC has failed to address the issue and hasn’t issued any statement on the expected dates of SSC CHSL result declaration. The tentative date of result publication is a past and some 20 lakh candidates who wrote the test don’t know what to make of it.
It’s not the first time though as SSC had earlier notified to announce the results in March, only to postpone it by few more months. All in all, nearly 7 months have passed since aspirants wrote the exams and results aren’t in sight anytime soon.
The Commission has also withdrawn the results of it’s CAPF/SI/AI re-examination that were declared on July 20, stating that the several discrepancies were found in the results.
It is expected that SSC will published the CHSL results sometime next week, most possible in the first week of August month. However, lacking the nod from SSC officials, nothing solid can be said as of yet.
