2:24 PM Update on 24 July 2016: So far, SSC has failed to notify aspirants about the declaration of results and as it seems, SSC CHSL results of 2015-16 exams will now be declared sometime next week. However, exact dates aren’t confirmed yet.
The results of SSC CHSL 2016 examination have possibly been delayed as Staff Selection Commission failed to release any notification on the issue. The delay in the declaration of CHSL results of 2015 exams can happen as SSC is conducting CHSL re-exam at one place today on July 23. So it’s possible the results will be out by next week including the latest data.
SSC CHSL result were likely to be announced yesterday as the tentative date notified by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is 22nd July 2016. The results have been awaited by aspirants for more than 7 months now. SSC was to release the results earlier in March this year but postponed to this date.
The written exam for Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL or 10+2) was conducted across the country in November and December last year and as the Commission had issued official notification of tentative schedule for declaration of results, it is cited that SSC CHSL 10+2 result will be declared on July 22, 2016. Close to 20 lakh candidates who had taken the test in a hope of getting government job are waiting for the announcement of results, which will be hosted at the official website of Commission, www.ssc.nic.in.
The notification of SSC CHSL 2015 was released last year for filling total 6,578 posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Data Entry Operator (DEO) and Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant (PA/SA). After some changes in the notified schedule, the first part of selection process, i.e. the written exam was organized on November 1, 15 & December 6 & 22 in which close to 20 lakh candidates appeared.
The Commission had also released the answer keys of the exam in May and invited objections from the candidates so that the final result of the written examination could be prepared. Along with the answer keys, the tentative timeline for the declaration of results was also released by the Commission, which mentions that the SSC CHSL result shall be declared on July 22, 2016.
SSC CHSL result 2015 will be uploaded at the official site so that candidates can access it and know their status of qualification for further rounds of selection process. The Commission would publish combined merit list based on the performance of the candidates which will be uploaded at the official site alongside the results.
CHSL result will be published in the form of a list wherein only those candidates’ name will be listed who have scored marks more than the cut-off marks.
Since the cut-off marks depend on the difficulty level of examination, the number of candidates, the number of vacancies and the average performance of the candidates among others, it is speculated that the cut-off marks for LDC would be at 120-125, 110-115, 99-104 & 87-93 for general, OBC, SC & ST candidates respectively. The expected cut-off marks for DEO should be 126-131, 115-120, 103-108 & 94-99 in the same manner.
