SSC CHSL application form 2016 process will resume tomorrow; update on Tier 2 2015 result

As the SSC CHSL 2016 application form filling process will resume from tomorrow, the result of CHSL tier 2 exam 2015 (descriptive test) that was held on September 18, 2016, is on the verge of being announced this month. Candidates can expect their results in next few days. The Staff Selection Commission has not issued any notice officially that may familiarize the candidates about the declaration date of tier 2 results. Furthermore, the schedule for tier 3 also remains to be notified.

But now that the notification for CHSL 2016 is out and application process has started on October 8th, it would be suffice to say that Commission would want to finish up the CHSL 2015 recruitment process in fast-track by releasing CHSL results soon.

CHSL 2016 online application process, however, has been suspended by SSC for 3 days between 10 Oct to 13 Oct as Commission’s website ssconline.nic.in suffered downtime. According to a report by TOI, a hacker group has seemingly compromised the website, a probe has also been filed by SSC regarding that. The application submission facility would resume on 13 October. In view of the problem, SSC has also extended the deadline to register for CHSL 2016 by four days. The same notice has been issued for Delhi Police recruitment exam with 2 other exams.

A total of 46,201 aspirants had appeared in CHSL 2015 descriptive exam held on 18 Sept 2016 while 60,975 had qualified the tier 1 to appear for tier 2. Tier 1 was taken by about 30 lakh candidates and mere 2% had qualified when the results came out. The tier 2 exam for CHSL 2015 was of 1 hour, and was conducted between 10 am to 11 am on the said date. The test consisted of 100 marks and candidates need to secure at least 33% marks to qualify the tier 2 and to be eligible for tier 3 (skill test and typing test).

The aspirants should wait for some official notice by SSC which will confirm the details of CHSL 2015 tier 2 results and the schedule for tier 3 of selection process. The notices related to CHSL 2015 past proceedings are available on ssc.nic.in, the official website. And if you’re a CGL 2016 aspirant, know that CGL tier 1 result 2016 are expected to be declared this week.
