Central Government Proposes Age relaxation for SSC CGL Examination

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has proposed a matter of age relaxation for the CGL 2015 that would become active from 1st August 2015. Hence, the candidates who fulfill the age criteria as of January 2015 would be allowed to sit for the exam.

According to the Government rules and regulations here is given the detailed features about the age limits applicable for the candidates fulfilling the eligibility. The features are mentioned here as follows:

SC/ST: 5years
OBC: 3years
PH: 10years
PH+OBC: 13years
PH+SC/ST: 15years

Ex-servicemen (Unreserved/General): 3years followed by the elimination of the service delivered from the original age, as calculated after the closing date of the application for Group B and C posts

Ex-servicemen (OBC): 6years (3+3)years followed by the elimination of the service delivered from the original age, as calculated after the closing date of the application for Group B and C posts

Ex-servicemen (SC/ST): 8years (3+5)years followed by the elimination of the service delivered from the original age, as calculated after the closing date of the application for Group B and C posts

For Group B:

Central Government- Civilian employees (Unreserved/General): 5years (Applicant must have delivered continuous 3years of services as calculated from the closing date of the receipt of the application)
Central Government- Civilian employees (OBC): 8years (5+3)years (Applicant must have delivered continuous 3years of services as calculated from the closing date of the receipt of the application)
Central Government- Civilian employees (SC/ST): 10years (5+5)years (Applicant must have delivered continuous 3years of services as calculated from the closing date of the receipt of the application)
For Group C Posts
Central Government- Civilian employees (General/unreserved): Up to 40years (Applicant must have delivered continuous 3years of services as calculated from the closing date of the receipt of the application)
Central Government- Civilian employees (OBC): Up to 43years (Applicant must have delivered continuous 3years of services as calculated from the closing date of the receipt of the application)
Central Government- Civilian employees (SC/ST): Up to 45years (Applicant must have delivered continuous 3years of services as calculated from the closing date of the receipt of the application)
Candidates who are the resident in Jammu and Kashmir (Unreserved/General): 5years
Candidates who are the resident in Jammu and Kashmir (OBC): 8years
Candidates who are the resident in Jammu and Kashmir (SC/ST): 10years

Apart from these, there are manifold other opportunities for widowed and divorced women that would help them to lead a better way of life. They can bring up their children without any difficulty and thus develops a better social outlook.

Candidates need to submit the valid documents against the vacancies or the reservations ensuring that get eligible for the particular opportunity. Make sure that you are able to produce the certificate at the time of interview, skill test or during document verification after Tier II examination.

    A ex-servicemen of SC cat, can get preventive officer or Examiner post if he scores equivalent marks to cut off list of SC for group B post.
