In the latest confusing developments, SSC has withdrawn the results for Paper-1 of CAPF ASI SI Exam. The results were announced and published on SSC’s official website on July 20, however, the next day followed with a fresh notification stating that the result of SI, CAPF 2016 Paper-I has been withdrawn.
The Staff Selection Commission has withdrawn the results of it’s SI, CAPF and ASI paper-I examination which were announced just two days ago on 20th July. SSC has put up the notice regarding the withdrawal of results on it’s website www.ssc.nic.in for all concerned candidates.
The re-examinations had been conducted in June dated 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 11th whereas initially scheduled exam was taken on 20th March. It’s expected that more than 2.5 lakh candidates had taken the re-exams.
In it’s official notification, the Staff Selection Commission said “The result of Sub Inspectors in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub-Inspectors in CISF, Examination, 2016, Paper-I exams were declared on 20th July, 2016. Soon after the declaration of the CAPF and other exam results, the Commission observed some discrepancies because of system error, and therefore, the results stand withdrawn. As soon as the limited issue is suitably addressed, the revised result will be uploaded post haste. Inconvenience caused is regretted.”
The postponement of results now is likely to have delaying affects on the schedule for Physical and medical tests. Moreover, the worrying factor for aspirants is that those may have qualified the paper-I in results announced earlier, now might have otherwise outcome and the same goes for non-qualified ones. Seemingly, SSC has managed to make the whole recruitment process a bit hasty which is favoring the candidates in no way.
