Procrastinating timetable of HSC and SSC, Maharashtra education board has put students in a fix, making them anxious about their preparations and studies . Students are worried about the preparation because the timetable used to be announced in the month of July-August. This has also led to the dissemination of false message on social media which increase more chaos among students.
Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education(MSBSHSE) has admitted it has delayed the announcement of the timetable of board exams. It explained the reason and said, “In the month of December 2016 and February 2017, some local government elections are proposed to be held in some areas of Maharashtra. Due to the issue of overlapping, the education board is not announcing dates.”
It has been assumed that the final dates would be announced after the dates announced by the election commission. Besides meddling in the textbooks, students will also have to mind the political scenario of the state.
Regarding the false messages, Krishnakumar Patil, secretary of the state board said the students are advised to ignore any kind of message which is unofficial. He said whenever any timetable would be ready, it would be posted on the website of the board, there is no need to get too much anxious about the timetable.
Most probably, the SSC and HSC board exams will be held in the February and March. Students should continue their preparation accordingly. They should not be misguided by any inappropriate message, it might draw unnecessary tension among them and would lead to bad performance in the exam.
