SBI PO 2016: the prelims exam results are going to be declared on coming Monday. State Bank of India officially notified that results of PO prelims exam that was held earlier this month are being released on 18 July.
The fate of many banking aspirants will take a leap forward when the result of SBI PO preliminary exam 2016 will be declared on 18th July. This preliminary exam was held for the recruitment of Probationary Officer (PO) in State Bank of India. There are around 2200 seats available this year for the post of PO.
The preliminary exam was conducted in online mode across various centres in India. The SBI PO prelims exams were conducted on 2nd, 3rd, 9th, and 10th of July. The paper consisted of 100 questions carrying 1 mark for each question and the allocated time was 60 minutes. The question paper was divided into three sections namely Quantitative aptitude, Logical reasoning and English language.
The result will be declared on the official site of SBI. Candidates can visit the official site www.sbi.co.in and can check their result under career section. Individual credentials will be required to check the result.
The road ahead:
Candidates who will clear the prelims exam will be eligible for the Mains exam. The Mains exam will consist of 200 marks in which an additional section will be there as general awareness section and will be held on 31st July. There will be also a descriptive paper of 50 marks in which candidates will have to write an essay/letter. The result of Mains exam will be declared on August 16 as per the notification of SBI. After that, selected students will be called for the interview and GD round.
Even though the result of the prelims exam is yet to come, mostly students have started to prepare for the Mains exam. Those students who are sanguine about their performance in the prelims have started their preparation to perform well in the next exam. As it is known that this prelims was only of a qualifying nature and final selection will be made according to Mains, students are extremely conscious for this paper.
