The State Bank of India (SBI) had earlier said that the results of clerk 2016 mains examination to recruit Junior Associates (JA) & Junior Agriculture Associates (JAA) are under processing in a notice that was issued two weeks back and since then, there’s no official clarification about the matter.
However, as we talked to CRPD Mumbai yesterday, the official said that results will be out soon, and after being persuaded further, official hinted that the results will be published in September, not giving any dates. Other than CRPD helpline, SBI doesn’t entertain queries regarding it’s recruitment exams.
Furthermore, SBI is to publish the final list for Probationary officers exam on September 30 and it’s expected that SBI will wrap up with the announcement of clerk mains result before or around that time.
Out of around 25 lakhs who took the prelims, just a little over 3.5 lakh made the list for mains examination which was held on June 25 and 26. As there has been a lot of confusion over whether or not SBI will hold the interview for clerical cadre, CRPD declined to comment on it, so, that remains a mystery. Altough some aspirants are not behind in speculating that SBI might introduce a new tier in this recruitment just like few other organizations namely, RRB and SSC.
Until State Bank of India issues any official notice, things may remain cloudy for aspirants whose patience is being tested here. But it’s better to prepare for other bank exams rather than holding your breath over SBI clerk outcome. We’ll update here once we’ve more on the topic.
