The breaking news comes out with the views depicted by Superstar Salman Khan regarding the appointment of Gajendra Chauhan as FTII chairman. He strongly supports the agitation by the students of Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) and even asked for the resignation of Gajendra Chauhan.
Salman Khan recently attended a press conference for his new upcoming movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan where he uttered the words “He (Chauhan) should listen to the students and step down.” On the other hand, Chauhan reveals that he has been appointed by the Government and thus Government would decide about his resignation. He is not the one to take any decision right now.
Doubts about His Capability
Chauhan who played the role of “Yudhisthir” is said to have worked in ‘B’ and ‘C’ grade films except that of ‘Mahabharata’. Students from various other institutes like Jawaharlal Institute, Delhi technological University and Delhi University also joined the protest demanding resignation of the FTII chairman.
Participation of Other Actors
Since the long episode of protest, other actors such as Ranbir Kapoor, Jahnu barua, Piyush Mishra, Pallavi Joshi, Rajat Kapoor also revealed their dissent regarding such appointment. Alumni of the institution also come in favor of the protest that’s a big hit of the Bollywood industry in the recent times.
