Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board (RSMSSB) organized the Patwari Main exam on December 24 across all the districts. A total of 59 centers were allotted in Ajmer district where around 80 percent candidates appeared for the exam. A total of 20,040 candidates had registered from the district, while around 16 thousand took the exam.
Several elaborate arrangements were made for the smooth conduct of the Patwari Main exam and even the number of general coaches were increased in some trains to facilitate the transportation. A total of 6,44,863 candidates had appeared in the preliminary exam held on February 13 and around 66 thousand candidates were shortlisted for the main exam.
After shuffling the Patwari Main exam date three times, the exam was finally conducted in a single shift of three hours from 2 pm to 5 pm. The question paper consisted of 150 questions distributes as 50 question related to General Knowledge, 50 questions to Mathematics and 25 questions each on General Hindi and Basic Computer Knowledge. Each question carried 2 marks.
While many candidates said the question paper was easy, some of them said the paper was quite lengthy. RSMSSB is expected to publish the answer keys of Patwari Main exam before 30th December and the candidates will be able to access the same at the official portal rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in. The candidates will be able to submit the objections against the answer keys and the main exam result will be announced on the basis of the final answer keys.
RSMSSB has conducted the main exam on 24th December to shortlist eligible candidates for filling 4,400 Patwari posts.
