RSMSSB is yet to announce the results of Lab Assistant and Librarian exam that was held on 13 November 2016. ExamsWatch tried to reach the Board in this regard, but no response could be fetched. The result was initially expected to be declared in the month of December, however, the Board has been reluctant in providing any update on the same and this has left the aspirants confused.
The Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board (RSMSSB) had issued two separate notifications in September 2016 to fill 562 Librarian (grade 3) and 1,896 Lab Assistant posts on the behalf of Secondary Education department, Agriculture Department and College Education Department. Later, some more Lab Assistant posts in State Forensic Science Laboratory were added, thus totalling up to 1,941 posts.
The written examination for Lab Assistant and Librarian recruitment was organised on the same day, November 13, 2016. After 10 days of the exam, the official answer keys were placed online by the Board and the candidates were asked to submit their feedback till November 28.
Around 1-1.5 lakh candidates attempted the exam as a chance to secure government job and are waiting for the Board to announce the results. As per the rules, the candidates are required to score minimum 40 percent marks to qualify the exam. The Board had invited the objections against the answer keys to maintain transparency in the examination process and was expected to analyse the objections within 2-3 weeks. The candidates are looking towards the Board for the results, but no official confirmation or any news regarding the current proceedings has been issued by the Board.
