The result of the RRB NTPC 2016 will be declared by mid-October and most likely around October 14-15, a Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) official said yesterday. The report first surfaced online last week by HT saying that the Railway exam results for online tests held for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) recruitment in 2016 will be out in the first fortnight of October. And now Catch News has also confirmed the report.
Amid the uncertainties that are clouding the declaration date for RRB NTPC result 2016, it’s the first time that something solid has come up. Since RRB is also holding the stage 2 exam which is slated to be conducted in November 2016, the statement can be cited valid. Although it’s not the first time that RRB has hinted at the time for announcement as it has done so many times until now, only to miss the deadline.
The online tests were held during the month of March-April-May 2016 and the results were first set to be declared on June 1. Since then it has been all a game of now and then which ultimately has become a case of curiosity for those 55 lakh candidates who took the test.
The board released the preliminary answer keys in August and after receiving objections from the candidates, is preparing to publish the final answer keys. It’s also possible that results and final keys come at the same time. Additional Director General (PR), Anil Kumar Saxena of the Railways Board has said that “The RRB results for NTPC first stage will be announced in the first fortnight of October month, that is, early next month.” Considering the official’s statement, expect the results to come out around 10-15 October.
