October 15, 2016, Update: The result of RRB NTPC 2016 will not be declared today as has previously been reported. There is no official notices from the RRBs regarding the RRB NTPC results 2016 of being outed today ans as per a report, the results will now be coming out in November.
The result of Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) NTPC 2016 exam will likely be declared in November and not on October 14th or 15th, as per latest reports. Aspirants anxiously waiting for the RRB NTPC stage 1 exam results will have to wait two-three weeks more. Earlier the board had said that the results will be declared around mid-October, most likely on October 14th or 15th but it is expected that the results will not be declared on the scheduled date now.
According to a report by Dainik Bhaskar three days ago, R K Jain, the Chairman of RRB Ajmer has said that the result of RRB NTPC exams held between March 28 to May 3, 2016 (also called as CBT stage 1) will be declared in November.
Talking to HT last month, Anil Kumar Saxena, RRB Secretary had said that the results will be released in the first fortnight of October month.
While a lot of media reports are surfacing online with varying degree of statements, the official websites of RRBs have not notified anything new and official regarding the declaration of RRB results for NTPC 2016 examinations. And at this point, it’s getting really hard to speculate anything because everything will eventually become a rumor if RRB doesn’t issue any official notice or declares the results.
A lot of candidates, precisely about 55 lakh are waiting on for RRB to release the results. Candidates who appeared for NTPC 2016 exams have condemned the inordinate delay in announcing results. “If they cannot publish the results even after six months, what is the point of hyping the examinations and conducting it online. It’s a clear mockery of our so called ‘digital India’.”
What’s more discerning is that RRB has even sent the proposal for NTPC 2016 exam to be included on Guinness World Records Book, calling the exam “the biggest online examination in the world”. Though the move should make us proud but somehow it isn’t.
What’s the point of having a Guinness World Record if the candidates who took the exam suffer long enough to mock the department that conducted it.
That being said, RRB Allahabad or RRB Mumbai have not uploaded any notice for past one month other than saying that “results are under process”. The stage 2 exam was to take place in November as per tentative schedule set by the board but if the delay in results prolongs, that schedule too might get affected.
We’ll update more when the story develops. Until then, keep a tab on the official website if, just in case it’s a good day and any good news follows.
