RRB NTPC mains exam answer key 2017 and question papers out

The answer key for RRB NTPC mains exam have been released along with the facility to raise objections. The 2nd stage exam was conducted on January 17, 18 and 19th. Most of the regional boards have uploaded the answer keys and question papers at their official websites. The candidates can also submit the objections against the answer key of 2nd Stage exam.

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) had organized the 2nd Stage examination under NTPC (Graduate) Recruitment (CEN 03/2015) on 17, 18 & 19 January 2017 and it was announced that the answer keys for the same will be made available for all the candidates. The Boards have fast-tracked the process this time as there was a delay of almost 7 months in the publication of answer keys of 1st Stage exam. The link for accessing RRB NTPC answer key has been activated at the RRBs portals.

The question papers, answer keys and their respective response sheets will be available for a period of 7 days till 30th January (11.55 pm). The candidates will also be able to submit the objections against the answer keys during this period. The Boards have made it clear that only the objections submitted within this duration will be entertained and no such facility will be provided after the last date ends.

As much as 2,73,250 candidates were called for the Mains exam held last week. The exam has been conducted as the final exam as the candidates qualifying this round will be subjected to participate only in Aptitude Test or Typing Skill test as per the requirement for specific posts. All 21 RRBs are holding the process to fill 18,252 posts of Commercial Apprentice, Traffic Apprentice, Enquiry cum Reservation Clerk, Goods Guard, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Assistant Station Master, Traffic Assistant and Senior Time Keeper under Non-Technical Popular Category (Graduate) Recruitment.

Since the number of posts differ for each RRB, around 17,748 candidates were shortlisted for the Mains exam by RRB Ahmedabad, 16,321 by RRB Ajmer, 42,972 by RRB Allahabad, 9,088 by RRB Bangalore, 17,271 by RRB Bhopal, 11,551 by RRB Bhubaneswar, 4,530 by RRB Bilaspur, 4,567 by RRB Chandigarh, 14,642 by RRB Chennai, 4,756 by RRB Gorakhpur, 6,136 by RRB Guwahati, 2,565 by RRB Jammu, 21,123 by RRB Kolkata, 4,170 by RRB Malda, 34,019 by RRB Mumbai, 6,873 by RRB Muzaffarpur, 10,710 by RRB Patna, 8,431 by RRB Ranchi, 24,271 by RRB Secunderabad, 4,185 by RRB Siliguri and 7,321 by RRB Thiruvananthapuram.

RRB NTPC recruitment is being touted as one of the world’s biggest recruitment wherein over 93 applicants had registered and around 56 lakh appeared for the 1st stage exam.
