The process of displaying answer keys, question paper and receiving objections will end on August 19th and thereafter, RRB will sort out the objections. Considering that this process will take about few days or give and take a week or so, candidates can expect their results of NTPC 2016 to be declared within two weeks.

2nd stage exam:

The recruitment process for RRB NTPC 2016 just got two phased. The news came via RRB’s official notification which reveals that RRB will now hold additional Computer Based Test (CBT) i.e., second stage examination in terms of CEN-03/2015.

The aspirants who will qualify the preliminary (exams held in March-May 2016) will have to appear for the stage II examination which will also be held in online mode. The RRB result of NTPC 2016 will be out around August-end or in early September and the merit list of selected candidates for stage 2 exam will be published by RRB. The stage 2 exam will be more like a Mains exam, which is held in most recruitment processes.

The move to hold stage 2 exam is being cited as to bring transparency to the recruitment process and also to filter students on a more qualifying level since number of candidates versus the vacant positions is way too high.

The schedule and details for stage 2 exams will be released after the publication of NTPC results. We’ll keep you posted here about that, along with the results roundup.
