RPSC Admit Card 2016 Released: RAS Pre Exam on August 28

The admit card for RPSC RAS 2016 preliminary examination has been released as the test is to be conducted on August 28. Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) issued the admit card to candidates on August 17th.

The candidates can now access their admit cards / call letter at RPSC online portal. RPSC admit card can only be accessed by the registered candidates through their respective application ID.

rpscRajasthan Administrative Services Combined Competitive Exam (RAS) 2016 is being organised by the RPSC to fill total 725 posts. The selection process is divided into three phases : Preliminary exam, Main exam and Interview. RAS Pre exam would consist of one paper of 3 hours duration (200 marks), the paper would contain objective type questions on General Knowledge & General Science. Based on the performance in the Pre exam, around 11 thousand candidates will be selected for Main exam. Main exam would be of 800 marks, while the Proficiency test and interview would carry 100 marks. The Preliminary exam would act as a screening test for Main exam only and hence the marks obtained by the candidates in RAS Pre exam would not be considered for final selection.

RAS Pre exam 2016 would be conducted next week while the schedule for main exam and interview would be announced by the Commission after the conclusion of the Preliminary exam. A total of 4,09,474 candidates have applied for the exam.

The RAS Pre Exam 2016 would be conducted in one shift from 10 AM to 1 PM on August 28, 2016, across all the district headquarters in Rajasthan. To appear for the exam, the candidates are required to carry RAS admit card, along with one photograph and a valid identity proof.

The applicants can access the RPSC admit card for RAS Pre exam 2016 from the official portal rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in/applyonline. To access the admit card, one needs to enter his/her application ID and date of birth.

A press note was published by the Commission on August 16, undersigned by RPSC Secretary G.S Kushwaha which states that the candidates are required to reach their respective exam centres one hour prior to the exam timings. To curb the malpractices in the exam, RPSC has also issued strict instructions to the candidates and hence wrist watches, mobile any other electronic gadgets are completely banned.

The candidates are advised to check their admit cards carefully and if they find any mistake in the particulars (like name, father’s name, date of birth, category, etc), they are required to send an application along with a postal order of Rs 300 to the Commission’s office.
