Versatile actor and comedian Razzak Khan breathed his last yesterday. Popular for his character as Ninja Chacha in movie ‘Hello Brother’, Razzak suffered major cardiac arrest at 12.30 midnight yesterday. He was immediately rushed to the Holy Family Hospital in Bandra where doctors declared him brought dead.
The actor held a long two decade career in Bollywood and has acted in more than 90 movies throughout his career. He made his debut in Bollywood with Anil Kapoor starrer movie ‘Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja’ in 1993 and was immensely appreciated for roles in Baadshah, Hello Brother, Haseena Maan Jaayegi, Akhiyon Se Goli Maare including others. Razzak also appeared in the popular TV show ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ two years back.
Funeral of Khan will be held tomorrow at Narialwadi Kabaristan at Byculla as his son Assad Khan is not in India. Assad works in Croatia and will return soon. Loss of a talent of his stature has left an irreparable damage in Bolloywood, several celebrities and his fans took to Twitter to express sorrow.
