Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University to be reality soon

The term ”Aviation” refers to designing, developing, producing and operating of the aircraft. French writer, Gabriel L Landelle was the one who coined the term aviation. Recently, Union Civil Aviation Minister Mr. Ashok Gajapathy Raju said that Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University, whose prime objective is to promote aviation studies and research activities, would soon start operating at Fursatganj of Raebareli district in Uttar Pradesh.

Mr. Raju, who was inspecting Indra Gandhi National Aviation Academy at Fursatganj said that very soon the proposed university would start functioning. Indra Gandhi Aviation Academy was established in the year 1985. The academy is considered to be one of the most important pilot training institute of India. It holds the unique distinction of being the first institute in India for training pilots. Courses that are available are commercial pilot license (CPL) and simulator training for pilots.

Mr Ashok Raju also replied saying that the question regarding why Amethi and Raebareli were neglected by NDA must be asked to Rahul Gandhi himself as Rahul is in better position to answer that. Mr Raju stated that the ratio between the number of trainee pilots and aircraft would be improved sooner when he was questioned about the shortage of training aircraft for trainee pilots.

The minister went to various sections of the academy and regulated the staffs to improve facilities. Mr V.K Verma, director of the academy updated the Minister of Civil Aviation Mr. Ashok Raju with the latest developments that are going on.
